Imagine riding a bicycle that can morph itself into any dimensions and any geometry you like – in real time, while you’re riding it. Now imagine being able to simulate riding on any terrain at the same time while being able to measure your pedaling efficiency.
We all deal with aches and pains. They come and go, all depends on what we did the day before. However, you should not be dealing or learning to cope with the same aches and pains on a daily basis.
Before a new SBR athlete comes aboard for coaching with an SBR Coach, we ask to have you complete a full assessment of your swim, bike and run. This will begin the framework of your training to ensure you are injury free, gain the most from your training and your Coach learns about you as an individual.
Your lead on these evaluations is Exercise and Biomechanic Physiologist Jessica Laufenberg. Over the past 18 years, Jessica has studied under the most prestigious doctors and therapists in the world. She has been practicing muscle balance work, corrective form, muscle balance and sports re-training on athletes from swimmers to football players to runners. Over the past 8 years she has started to focus her drive to the swimming, cycling and running sport specifically, and has honed her skills and keen eye to detect improper motor patterns.
Proper running form is essential to running success. Skills learned for running can improve your time, create an efficient running body, alleviate an injury, and prevent any injury from occurring.
We want to make sure no one stops riding a bicycle due to pain or discomfort that can be addressed with proper bike fit. Fit sessions focus on you, the rider, to best fit your bike to you.
Swimming can be one of the most frightening sports to athletes. The fear of your face in the water or just having to swim in open water for the first time can make spiders crawl up and down your spine! When taught some basics techniques and keys about the water, swimming can be very enjoyable, and not a chore.
